Fine Points
A maiden dips her foot in the pool as bougainvillea blossoms fall onto the terrace floor. Alongside a fossil-handled fruit bowl, a bird nibbles pomegranate seeds while the juice spills on the table. On either side of the central mosaic upper panels feature elaborate spring floral displays made of stained glass and beads resting in red onyx urns. The view out to sea continues from the central panel. The lower panels feature pairs of 280 million year old ammonite fossils in a field of granite with details of tiger eye and pearls.
