Inspiration
The homeowners and architect wanted the entry mosaic to derive from the
local surroundings. Hence, a topographic map of the 42-acre property serves as the
entry to this modern concrete and steel residence tucked among the hills and oak trees
of Western Marin County. The house and outbuildings, major trees, swimming pool, and
water table are all represented in the stone and glass mosaic.
