1000 square feet of bar floor, window bay panels, and exterior signs, featuring a 14-foot peacock in the entry and bar
Fragmented and cut ceramic tile, much of which was custom fired by Heath Ceramics in Sausalito, California. Glass highlights appear on window panels
The bar floor mosaic suggests a carpet in the “Industrial Nouveau” style; the dominant theme of the restaurant. The peacock’s tail “eyes” repeat as a design element in the paisley shapes throughout. The eight window bays feature design variations in the French Art Nouveau style.
